LAGOP Young Leaders Internship Program

The Los Angeles County Republican Party (LAGOP) is offering year round internship opportunities for students in all regions of the county. Interns will be mobilized within their own regions and paired with appropriate assignments, respective of various time commitments. If you are a High School Senior or a College Student, and have an interest in Republican politics…we are looking for you!
About the Los Angeles Republican Party
The Republican Party of Los Angeles County (LAGOP) is a volunteer organization. It is part of the California Republican Party and is the official Republican Party Organization in Los Angeles County. The County is comprised of 24 Assembly Districts each of which has an Assembly District Central Committee that is elected by Republican Voters every 4 years during the Primary Election.
Our goals are:
To increase Republican voter registration
To identify and support Republican Candidates for office
To increase Republican voter turnout at the polls
Description of the program
The LAGOP intern will be working with the LAGOP Executive Director to assist maintain regular Republican Party operations.
Responsibilities will include: Assisting the Central Committee Voter Registration Chair and other local clubs with voter registration, partnering with local Young and College Republicans to increase club membership on local College and High School campuses, event planning, and working on election campaigns.
Qualifications
The Intern will be expected to:
Be committed to Republican Party ideals and values
Communicate clearly orally and in writing
Have basic computer and office skills
Handle multiple projects simultaneously
Work both independently and as a member of a team
